We are passionate about horseracing. We want the Tote to be at the heart of horseracing to help ensure a sustainable and successful future for the sport.

Our board and every member of our 200-strong team are focused on making the Tote the best place to bet on horseracing. Since acquiring the Tote in October 2019 we have brought a number of exciting innovations and improvements to ensure the Tote provides a great betting experience and unbeatable value to our customers betting on horseracing.

In 2020 we agreed a seven-year alliance with Tote Ireland to ensure customers in the UK and Ireland are all benefiting from the innovations we are bringing to the Tote.

These innovations and improvements include:

The launch of a new customer-facing website for the Tote – Tote.co.uk – with live streaming of racing from around the world. The Tote now has 300,000 registered customers with turnover growing 56% since October 2019.

Bringing back Ten to Follow with thousands of
pounds in prizes every flat and jumps race season.

The introduction of Tote Guarantee on UK and Irish racing, ensuring the Tote Win price always exceeds or matches the Industry Starting Price. The Tote Win price beats the Industry Starting Price over a quarter of the time. It always matches on the remaining occasions – it is never beaten.

The development of World Pool racedays on UK and Irish racing ensuring huge pools and great value for racing fans and a significant new revenue stream for horseracing.

The Launch of Tote Fantasy.

The introduction of a sportsbook on Tote.co.uk to ensure customers can place bets on other sports, and non-pool bets on racing, without having to leave the Tote’s website.
